Northgate Juice Joint blends-up tasty local fruits and veggies with a passion for serving only the healthiest products. The owner was in need of a site that allowed her to update the menu with product shots and nutritional information as needed.
We took a mobile-first approach for a responsive design with an inventive navigation feature allowing visitors to toggle between menu view and grid view. Users can also tab between product shot and nutritional info for each menu item.
The Challenge
The high-level goals:
1. Build an online brand identity that separates NJJ from the national brand juice and smoothie bars. Promote a locally sourced and healthier approach.
2. Create a website that encourages students to order ahead while paying at pickup. Allow users the option to quickly scan the menu or view more detailed descriptions, product photos, and nutritional information.
My Role
Brand Development, UX and UI, photography, and Visual Design. I received constructive feedback from customers, the developer, and the student employees in order to improve and obtain other perspectives about the project.
